DIRECTOR

Paul HarringtonPaul Harrington is a visual and performance artist with over 15 years experience. He has an extensive portfolio of work to his name and a growing reputation as a public artist.

Paul specializes in site-specific work, be it public art or performance art, and approaches each project as a blank canvas. As a result, each piece is unique, creating a special relationship with its setting and its audience.

Paul’s public art projects to date include ambitious landscape art projects, as well as play sculptures, street furniture and temporary public art interventions. He has led and worked on projects for regional development agencies, local councils, schools, environmental trusts and community groups.

He has also worked extensively as a director, performer and designer to create large scale outdoor site specific shows such as ‘Headland’ along Hastings seafront, ‘Burning the Clocks’ on Brighton beach and ‘Divers’ at Brighton Marina.

Based in East Sussex, Paul is a former director of one of the region’s leading celebratory arts companies, Same Sky. He has since established his own company, Paul Harrington Arts, and is co-director of Small Wonder, with creative partner Charlie Morrissey.
