the palm house ...
AN ADVENTURE FOR THE SENSES The Palm House, Stanmer Park, Brighton, October 2005
Set in the Palm House, a glorious disused glass house in Stanmer Park outside Brighton, this was a multi-sensory performance experience unlike any other.
This hugely successful show brought the outdoors inside and the senses were awakened in a performance which took its audience on an atmospheric journey into the natural world.
In volatile times of climate change and environmental upheaval, The Palm House was an exploration of mankind’s relationship with nature and it’s fight to tame and control its wilder and unpredictable aspects.
The performance surrounded its audience by the elements as rain, wind, fog and sunshine breathed life into this truly unique and unforgettable experience.
The Palm House was conceived by Graeme Gilmour, Paul Harrington and Charlie Morrissey.
In collaboration with: The World Famous, Phil Supple, Thor McB and Aswarm Sonics
